he has returned last week with a huge loss of hearing that is preventing him working.
hopefully that will resolve in a a couple of weeks. It is due to ear trauma from ascent and descant with a cold, on the last legs of the trip. He cant afford to have bad stuff happen to his damaged ears

he learned much, saw a lot of graves, was more touched by Gallipoli than France and Belgium despite the untold thousands of graves there (pics to follow later)
