No more soap sales + being copied

I have discontinued soap sales, at least temporarily. I have had a lot of fun over 18 years making soap and meeting so many other interesting people. Thank you everyone .
Maybe I will get back to it again later, but meanwhile I will be making only for personal use and gifting..

28 October 2017....Unfortunately someone has chosen to copy/paste huge amounts from my old web pages....product information, receipes, soap making methods eg...and place this on the domain name I let go a few months ago. They can buy the domain name but that does not give access to my copyright material or the use of my registered business name.
If you go to that page it is not me you might be dealing with. The person hides behind a "disposable" email address

other things i saw at Port Macquarie

a wooden dish in the woodcarvers hut at Timbertown

a museum photo of a ship that my great great grandfather was Captain of.

this is the dining room of Roto House

While i am here i might as well

add some pictures i took while at Port Macquarie last year.
this is an eagle that is part of a lectern in a church whose name i have sadly forgotten
next is a pic of the marks made by koalas as they climb the trees.
then is Roto House.......i grew up not far from a tiny tiny town called Roto so it was of interest.

Rain and a pic of a sunset

one week later and still we are soaking. However we are not as affected as the poor people on the Central Coast.
i feel for them and hope that they will receive the help they need in a way that works for them.

we all hope for that ship to be removed off the beach without any enviromental disaster.

i also hope that enough water goes into our dam so that the government will have a cooling off time to allow some thought as to how we can harvest water better ..rather than insert a desal plant.

and i hope that all along the coast Councils will look at how and where they allow development.
the events on some of our beaches are a clear warning and shouldnt be ignored

alby bino (the late great cat)

just saw this pic in my HD and figured that Alby should feature here.
he has been dead about 17 years and lived for 16. probably the worlds greatest and smartest cat who never forgave me for getting another white cat for company

it is all screwey

and out of alignment this new postings.
but i think i have to move on and leave it as is.
cant figure out what i am not doing right

a bromiliad from my garden

dog and soap

some soap i did last week that is done the way i like to do...rustic.......using bits of other bars cut or grated, inserted into the new log

and dog in her new night time sleeping coat
well it has taken me a long time to post.
a year ago i had a flu vaccine and got immediately sick and then 10 days later i had 8 days in hospital with labrynthitis which caused me to loose all the vestibular function in my left ear.
i left hospita just able to walk to my ensuite and have spent the last 11 months trying to work out how to manage to walk with only half my balance mechanism functioning.
it is not easy and has been a hugely difficult battle.

i have seen more TV and watched more DVD in this time than in the rest of my whole life !!
i have missed out of huge chunks of life generally as i can only drive so far, am very tired mostly and get around generally with a walking stick that is there to say to people *keep off me...dont knock me or, despite my solid appearance i might topple over :-)

i have done some soap but mostly i have had to pass on orders.
what i have done has been a great pleasure for me

i have managed for months now to walk the dog each day for greater or lesser amounts of distance and am looking to improving my distances....not easy to achieve tho.
i am having some problems with this page as the set up has changed while i have been away and i am seeming to own two blog spots

after 4 goes to do this i will either be successful .......or quit !!
