No more soap sales + being copied

I have discontinued soap sales, at least temporarily. I have had a lot of fun over 18 years making soap and meeting so many other interesting people. Thank you everyone .
Maybe I will get back to it again later, but meanwhile I will be making only for personal use and gifting..

My beautiful *Shadow * dog has died

After a relatively short time being picky about her food, then not eating much and then eating nothing really......tests showed acute renal failure, amongst other things.
I chose to let her go peacefully and her vet came to our home on 24 April and she died with my son and I beside her.
We are bereft to have lost this beautiful, intelligent, loving dog. She amused us with her tricks, she loved to *work* and I will miss her picking up things from the floor and handing them to me. It sure saved my poor sore back.
She was just that one special animal that some of us are fortunate to own or meet in a lifetime.
The stories about her are legion, the memories endless, warm  and beautiful .
 she lives on forever.

She had had months of pain after a neck injury in late August 2014. Not being able to walk and being able to do nothing but lie around.
I nearly had her put down then but she finally suddenly got better and had some good weeks before the kidney failure. She was slow walking in the park in the last weeks... but still loved her social activities and knew what time it was when I should be preparing to take her out

The weird thing about her food on the last day was that I was eating an Anzac biscuit when she sniffed it and looked interested. I offered her a bit and she loved it and had a bit more. When my son came by with his chicken and ham sandwiches not yet eaten....she asked for some of that and looooooved it.
She had refused proper chicken, tuna, turkey, beef and her usual beloved dry cat food for the previous 24 hours

Our thanks to Matt and his team at Normanhurst Vet Practice. They care

Here she is ready to go shopping a about 2 weeks ago. Looking very well

Wondering if I am ever coming back.

Here she is as she was recovering from the neck problems

Sitting with "her boy" waiting for the vet to arrive.
