No more soap sales + being copied

I have discontinued soap sales, at least temporarily. I have had a lot of fun over 18 years making soap and meeting so many other interesting people. Thank you everyone .
Maybe I will get back to it again later, but meanwhile I will be making only for personal use and gifting..

pink and grey....sort of

just using up some oils that i had bits and peices of.
soap is sliced but not trimmed

a pic of the old old house i grew up in

this photo was taken by a friend recently and I am grateful for it.
the fence was not there in my time but rather a huge hedge.
the roses look great and i am sure my parents would have loved them as we only had a few that i recall.
the house must be the best part of 80-90 years old now...which is old in aussie terms.
it is made of huge concrete blocks. the roof is vast but i dont recall ever seeing inside of it.
the block is subdivided now which is sort of sad but more manageable i guess.
wide cement verandahs go around 3 sides of it.....which isnt shown on this pic

and just because i could do it

i emailed my sister to ask her to ask her private study student if she would write something in Chinese for me this afternoon.
so she did .
it is on the side of the page under my web page link and says
"worlds greatest soapmaker "

世界上最好
肥皂
制造商

i thought that was so untrue as to be a giggle .
and most people reading this blog wont understand it anyway so i can lie as much as i like. :-)

i hope it has been correctly understood and translated LOL

sister is in China for a year and this is her apartment front door,
which looks very important and safe

it rained and it was cold

so we went up the street anyway for a short walk to the nice neat gardens

and saw the happy flowers on the way that were all wet and lying flat

came back to find the driveway full of these galahs who wouldnt stay still near us for a photo........so this is the best shot possible

someone then went back to bed
