yesterday a few of us gathered there to learn something of the history of the garden and the woman.
none of us took a camera.... so today i went back to do a few photos.
Unfortunately i choose high noon, which made it hard for my poor olde camera, and has made
too many shots too light. It was a very very sunny day.
sadly i am not clever enough to rearrange that bad lighting, so i will simply put the pics
up as a memory to a lovely suburban garden, a pleasant day out
and an interesting woman ...Lillian Frazer, whose garden is only a few blocks from mine
double click the photos to enlarge.
seeing as i dont know the names of most of the plants....i have left them unnamed.!!

a so called pom pom tree.....which obviously fascinates me!!
a lady working in the garden took me aside to show me this plant. she does not know its name.
she says it is rare in australia. it has a star shaped leaf and a star shaped flower.
