a bit of soap and a cropped pic of a hydrangea ..with a sigle jacaranda petal lying on it

this one is goats milk made with mixed oils and looking pretty pale which i like.
sometimes the soap is a bit darker..depends at which temperatures i work

this is a Castile made with only olive oil

a day with steam trains...........start at the bottom of the story!!

the steam train is right at the front of the 10 carriages

and a looooooooooooong line of tanks waiting for the steam train to pass by

and across the road was a bit of old and new juxtaposed

and saw the wheels and connections of some freight tanks

we went to

dog rides out to get pizza

very comfortable in the back seat of the car as she travels

okkk..so another flower

it rained a bit this afternoon

things i did last night and this morning to avoid househwork

some jacaranda seed pods and a macadamia nut shell. the cokatoos pick them off the tree,
break them up and spit them out

made and cut some is plain white goats milk and coconut milk
which has gone a very pale cream.
some is the palest yellow with a white top and green blobs.
and some is pale green with a tiny overpour of white

essentially there is little between them colour wise

picked a few of the endless gardinias that will flower this year.
dont know why the bushes are so prolific....but they are. bit like the jacaranda trees

I went to Stanwell Park for a vintage plane flypast...

Connie and a DC 3
the planes were from Albion Park
and there was meant to be another plane
apparenly but they didnt have another pilot
....so we got two and it was still great

it would have been nice if i had decent long distance lens

the coast is beautiful and the new coast road is visible
tho you can see nothing of nothing as you drive along it.
It was a bit of a disappointment really tho i admire it from the distance

i hate these old style Bouganvillia bushes with a passion
........but am surrounded by them, of the loooooooooong thorns.
we had these bushes when i was kid and they are lethal. had one in an earlier house
........and still didnt like it. son nearly got spiked to death
by the huge /monster bush there
i do like the smaller plants that have been developed more recently,
with the more gentle colours
